Dr. Edwin Theosmy is an Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty-training in Adult Hip and Knee Replacement/Revision. He provides both operative and nonoperative treatment for a variety of hip and knee conditions including osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, and post-traumatic deformities. Some of his procedures include Direct Anterior Hip Replacement and MAKO & VELYS Robotic Assisted Surgery. He also provides general Orthopedic Fracture & Trauma care. He is currently serving his patients in Old Bridge as well as Edison, NJ.
Dr. Theosmy was raised in Neptune, New Jersey and is excited to be working in his home state, serving the community he grew up in. Throughout his medical training in South Jersey and Boston, he worked with dedicated physicians from world renowned groups who have equipped him with the skills needed to provide optimal, quality orthopedic care in the region.
Dr. Theosmy has contributed to advancing research in Orthopedics through several publications, book chapters, and presentations on local and national levels. He is passionate about perioperative opioid-limiting strategies and addressing healthcare disparities, particularly from language barriers.
In his spare time, Dr. Theosmy enjoys being a musician, travel, golf, and spending time with his wife and children.
